# International Duty Releases

Manage alcohol duty across multiple jurisdictions with the International Duty extension.

## <mark style="color:red;">COMING SOON</mark>

International Jurisdiction Duty in Bevica enables businesses to manage alcohol duty across multiple countries and regulatory regimes within a single company. Each warehouse or location is assigned to a specific jurisdiction (typically a country), and duty rules are applied based on that location rather than the legal entity. Stock can exist in different duty statuses and can move between jurisdictions and statuses with full audit tracking. This model allows Bevica to handle complex cross-border scenarios, including transferring stock between bonded warehouses, processing multi‑jurisdiction sales orders, and maintaining an auditable duty ledger per jurisdiction to support compliance in international operations.

International Duty-related changes are incorporated into the [**Bevica Essentials Releases**](/roadmap/bevica-roadmap/bevica-extensions/bevica-essentials-releases.md) page.

Managing multiple jurisdictions requires this extension to be installed.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://kb.bevica.com/roadmap/bevica-roadmap/bevica-extensions/international-duty-releases.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
