Checking Inventory Margins
Review costs and margins on posted Item Ledger Entries.
Bevica gives you the ability to check costs and margins against posted movements (Item Ledger Entries) for Inventory Items. This can be used to see operational costs and revenues held against stock and spot discrepancies easily. All movements have Unit Cost calculated, in addition, Sales movements have sales related fields available.

Item Ledger Entry fields
Unit Cost
Calculated field showing cost per base unit. ((Cost Amount (Actual)+Cost Amount (Expected)) /Quantity).
Cost Amount (Actual)
The movement's total invoiced cost amount.
Cost Amount (Expected)
The movement's total shipped cost amount.
Cost Amount (Non-Inventoriable)
The movement's total non-inventoriable cost amount. These are typically costs posted against sales documents, i.e. via an Item Charge or Bevica Additional Charge functionality.
Unit Price
Calculated field showing cost per base unit. ((Sales Amount (Actual)+Sales Amount (Expected)) /Quantity).
Sales Amount (Actual)
The movement's total invoiced sales amount.
Sales Amount (Expected)
The movement's total shipped sales amount.
Unit Cash Margin
Calculated field showing the unit cash margin.
Line Cash Margin
Calculated field showing the line cash margin.
Margin %
Calculated field: ((total sales amount - total cost amount) / total sales amount) * 100).
The Item Ledger displays all figures in Local currency.
