# Reporting & Analytics in Bevica

Bevica gives you many ways to analyse and understand the data you enter and process. Built-in analytics and reporting help you track performance and review activity across the business. Business Central includes reporting and analytics tools for both simple and complex processes. This page outlines the main areas and links to more detail.

For a quick guide, see [Use Reports In Your Daily Work (Quick Guide)](#use-reports-in-your-daily-work-quick-guide).

### Use Reports In Your Daily Work (Quick Guide)

Use the following tools as part of your daily routine to monitor performance, spot trends, and stay in control of your work.

* List Pages
* Export to Excel / Edit in Excel
* Data Analysis Mode
* Templated Reports
* Connecting Excel to Bevica (Web Services & OData)
* Role Centres, KPIs / Charts
* Finance Reports and Dimensions
* Inventory and Sales Reporting

These are covered in more detail here: [Use Reports In Your Daily Work (Quick Guide)](/documentation/reporting-and-analytics/reporting_in_bevica_-_overview/quick_guide_-_reporting_in_bevica.md)

### Power BI

It is easy to get insights from your Business Central data with Power BI — Microsoft’s data visualisation platform. Power BI retrieves Business Central data so you can build dashboards and reports from it. It gives you a flexible alternative to reports built in Business Central. You can drill down, customise visuals, and merge data from different companies or external sources. Some Power BI reports can also be embedded in Business Central and viewed without leaving the system. More complex dashboards are often easier to work with in the Power BI website.

#### Business Central Power BI

Business Central SaaS includes a suite of standard Power BI reports. These cover:

* Finance
* Sales
* Purchasing
* Inventory
* Inventory Valuation
* Projects
* Manufacturing

Learn how to install the standard Power BI reports: [Install Power BI apps for Business Central](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/across-powerbi-install-business-central-apps)

{% hint style="info" %}
These reports do not include Bevica data. They are based on standard Business Central data and features.

A Power BI Pro licence is required to access these reports.
{% endhint %}

Power BI reports can also be made available within Bevica on the Role Centre and selected list pages, including **Customers**, **Items**, **Jobs**, **Sales Orders**, and **Vendors**.

#### Bevica Power BI

Bevica has a Power BI extension with a suite of Finance, Sales, Inventory, and Purchasing reports that include Bevica-specific data.

See [Bevica Power BI reporting](/roadmap/bevica-roadmap/bevica-extensions.md#bevica-power-bi-reporting).

### Microsoft Fabric

Microsoft Fabric is an end-to-end analytics solution with capabilities for data movement, data lakes, data engineering, data integration, data science, real-time analytics, and business intelligence. It is backed by a shared platform for data security, governance, and compliance.

For customers with more advanced data science or business intelligence scenarios that require richer data engineering or data integration, Microsoft Fabric is an option.

See [Fine Wine Reporting for Fabric / SQL](/documentation/reporting-and-analytics/reporting_in_bevica_-_overview/reporting-for-fabric-sql.md)

### External Business Intelligence

Bevica can export data in several ways. This lets external solutions use your data for reporting and insight.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://kb.bevica.com/documentation/reporting-and-analytics/reporting_in_bevica_-_overview.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
