# Logistics Country/Region Code

Maintain logistics country/region codes used on shipping and reporting.

The **Logistics Country/Region Code** field exists on Item Ledger Entry and Duty Ledger Entry pages and denotes where stock has moved from/to and can be used to better understand stock movements. It is populated on posting Sales & Purchase documents or an Item Journal.

The field is for information only.

### Logistics Country/Region Code

The field is populated from posting the following documents:

* Sales: from the Ship-to Country/Region Code field.
* Purchase: from the Buy-from Country/Region Code field.
* Item Journal: from the Logistics Country/Region Code field, the field needs to be manually populated.

The field is not populated from any other documents.
