Bevica enhancements
Bevica has introduced a number of enhancements to the standard WMS operations.
Automatic Reversal / Undo of Picked Stock
Bevica allows you to automatically reverse stock movements when a shipment is no longer required. This ensures that stock already picked for dispatch can be efficiently returned to storage, without the need for manual adjustments.
How It Works
When stock has been picked and is awaiting shipment, but the shipment itself or a shipment line is subsequently deleted, Bevica will:
Identify any remaining picked quantities
Automatically create Reclassification Journal lines
When posted, return the stock to general storage locations
This removes the need for users to manually track and re-enter stock movements.
The process of creating the journal lines is automated, never the less users should regularly review the Reclassification Journal and post.
Key Benefits
Reduces manual data entry and user error
Ensures picked stock is not left stranded in staging areas
Maintains accurate and up-to-date inventory records
Setup: Navigate to Bevica Setup, Warehouse fasttab and populate Whse. Shipment Reclass. Jnl. Batch Name.
UK HMRC Excise Bonded warehousing
Bevica has the ability to manage an HMRC Excise Bonded warehouse, this introduces the concept of Duty Free / Duty Paid status to stock in storage and the accrual of duty as needed. In addition, Bevica can produce W5, W5D, and W1 returns when required. See HMRC Excise Warehouse Reporting
