Bevica Setup provides a central location to manage Bevica specific functionality. It can be used as the primary location to set up Bevica features. You can set up all the necessary fields in fasttabs or in the actions in the ribbon.

The **Bevica Administrator** Role Centre also contains these plus **RapidStart Services** links.

### Bevica Setup Fasttabs

The Bevica Setup page contains a number of Fasttabs:

### Duty Management

These fields control how Bevica manages Duty from a cost, inventory and logistics perspective. When ‘**Duty Activated**' is turned on, items can be purchased and sold Duty Free or Duty Paid.

On the ribbon, you will find other functionality, such as **‘Duty Mgmt.’** which can directly link you to Duty Codes and Duty Ledger Entries. Also, the **‘Purchase Posting Setup’** and '**Sales Posting Setup**’ ribbon options in the Finance section allow you to manage zero VAT bonded transactions.

For more information, please see [Duty Management](/documentation/guides/duty-compliance-and-tax/duty_management.md).

### Fine Wine - Paid Reserves

Some initial setup is required to manage private reserve processes. For more information, please see [Private Reserves Setup](/documentation/guides/paid-reserves-and-fine-wine/private_reserves_setup.md).

This functionality is available with the Bevica Fine Wine extension.

### Broking

Some initial setup is required to manage broking transactions. For more information, please see [Broking](/documentation/guides/paid-reserves-and-fine-wine/broking.md).

This functionality is available with the Bevica Broking extension.

### Unpaid Reserves

Some initial setup required to manage unpaid reserves. For more information, please see [Unpaid Reserves](/documentation/guides/sales/unpaid_reserves.md).

### AWRS

Your company's **EORI number** can be set here. For more information, please see [EORI](/documentation/guides/duty-compliance-and-tax/economic_operators_registration_and_identification_number.md) documentation.

The company’s **AWRS Unique Reference Number** should be set here with the date it was issued.

On the **Customer** and **Vendor Cards** Bevica can search for your partners AWRS numbers and AWRS Date. These fields can be found under your **AWRS Fasttab** on the Customer or Vendor Card. For more information, please see [AWRS](/documentation/guides/duty-compliance-and-tax/authorised_wholesalers_registration_scheme.md) documentation.

### User Defined Item Fields

Bevica lets you manage a number of item fields. You can decide what they are called and what values users can select for each. For more information, please see [User Defined Item Fields](/documentation/guides/items-and-inventory/user_defined_item_fields.md).

### Pricing / Costing

Bevica can apply **most specific pricing** on both Sales and Purchase. If this field is not turned on, the Business Central Standard with the cheapest prices will apply.

For more information, please see [Sales and Purchase Price Lists - New Pricing Experience](/documentation/deprecated-features/legacy_sales-purchase_price_and_discounts.md) documentation.

### Item

#### Item Marketing

The fasttab holds Bevica’s core Item Marketing information. The three **Marketing Group** fields relate to making note texts available on Custom Report Layouts.

From Bevica Setup ribbon, if you click in **Marketing** or **Navigate > Item Marketing** section you can manage the following information:

* Blend Codes
* Brand Codes
* Classification Codes
* Countries/Regions
* Marketing Group Codes
* Press Codes
* Region Codes (use this to access Subregion and Appellation Codes)
* Style Codes
* Colour Codes

**Actions** on the ribbon accesses **Content Import/Export functions.**

For more information, please see [Bevica Classifying Items](/documentation/guides/items-and-inventory/bevica_item_attributes.md).

#### Item Workflow

It is possible to block newly created items to ensure they are properly setup prior to being used.

### Moving Annual Totals

This fasttab allows you to configure how the **MAT report** is presented. If you decide to run the report from **Bevica Setup (Operations > Item MAT Sales Analysis),** this will open the full unfiltered list of items with their last 12 months sales. The option to run the report can also be found on the Item and Vendor cards.

For more information, please see [Item Moving Annual Total Sales Analysis (MAT)](/documentation/reporting-and-analytics/reporting_in_bevica_-_overview/moving_annual_total_sales_analysis_-mat.md) documentation.

### Credit Order Management

There’s only one field in this fasttab, which allows you to choose one of the two existing options, **Sell-to Customer** or **Bill-to customer**, depending on how you want Bevica to perform a check on credit limit.

For more information, please see [Credit Held Orders Setup](/documentation/guides/sales/credit_held_orders.md) document.

### Manifest

This fasttab holds the **No. Series** code for new Manifest documents and the **Clear Manifest No. on posting** setting covered here: [Manifests](/documentation/guides/warehousing-and-logistics/manifests.md).

### Reservations

The fields here help manage reservations on sales orders.

* **Auto Reserve Matching UoM First.** If this is set to 'Yes', the **Auto Bevica Reservation** function on sales orders will include the lines' Unit of Measure in its FIFO matching logic.
* **Protect Prepayment Reservations.** Set this to 'Yes' to prevent users accidentally deleting sales lines reservations where the line has been set up for prepayment. Users will see an error if the line Prepayment & field is greater than zero, and they try to delete an existing Reservation. To clear the reservation you set the **Prepayment %** on the line to zero, making sure any monies paid by the customer are dealt with.
* **Sales Order Reservation Method** can be set to 'Manual' for users to want to manually create Bevica Reservations or 'On Release' to automatically reserve item lines when the sales document is released. Refer to [Bevica Reservations](/documentation/guides/sales/bevica_reservations.md) for detail.
* **Transfer Order Reservation Method** can be set to 'Manual' for users to want to manually create Bevica Reservations or 'On Release' to automatically reserve lines when the transfer document is released. Refer to [Bevica Reservations](/documentation/guides/sales/bevica_reservations.md) for details.

### Reporting

The **Group Lines Sales Document** field can be used to consolidate item lines on a sales invoice where multiple instances of the same item exist. Grouping is done on the following basis:

* Type = Item (so G/L, Resource, Comment etc. lines are always separated)
* Item No,
* Location Code
* Variant Code (Duty Type)
* Unit Price
* Line Discount %
* VAT Product Posting Group

### Archive

Select these options to automatically archive sales and purchase documents when they are released.

### Favourites

Create lists of favourite items, or replicate a customer's wine list and have them populate the sales order automatically. See: [Customer Favourites](/documentation/guides/sales/customer_favourites.md).

### Assembly / Production

Some setup to help the assembly/production process.

### Warehousing

Some initial setup to manage reversing / undoing picked stock if using warehouse operations. For more information see [Bevica Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)](/documentation/guides/warehousing-and-logistics/bevica_warehouse_management_systems_-wms.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://kb.bevica.com/documentation/guides/setup-and-configuration/bevica_setup.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
