# Equivalent Cases (Eq. Cases)

Configure equivalent cases (Eq. Cases) for logistics, reporting, and charge allocation.

An Equivalent Case (Eq. Case) is a standardised measure for expressing liquid quantities.

**1 Eq. Case = 9 litres**

It is used throughout Bevica where a standard format is needed for reporting or calculations comparing quantities across multiple units of measure. It originated from expressing quantities equivalent to 12x75cl cases.

Examples:

| Quantity    | Eq. Case value | Calculation (Total Litres / 9) |
| ----------- | -------------- | ------------------------------ |
| 2 x 12x75cl | 2              | 18 / 9                         |
| 5 x 6x75cl  | 2.5            | 22.5 / 9                       |
| 6 x 37.5cl  | 0.25           | 2.25 / 9                       |
| 12 x 500ml  | 4              | 36 / 9                         |
| 5 x 70cl    | 0.39           | 3.5 / 9                        |
